On average you should feed an adult 2% of their ideal body weight (dog's weight x 0.02) or 100g per 10lbs of ideal weight. Larger dogs will generally eat proportionately less than that and small dogs will generally eat proportionately more. For growing puppies you should feed 3 to 5% of their ideal body weight (dogs weight x 0.03) or 150g per 10lbs of ideal weight.
Please remember that puppies are growing so monitor their weight very closely. You should be able to easily feel ribs along your dog’s ribcage. Keeping your dog slim is one of the best things you can do for their health.
We highly recommend that you develop a good working relationship with a veterinarian that supports the decisions you make for your dog. Monitoring your dog's health with your vet is proactive and can keep you and your dog happy and healthy for many years.
